Annual Report

Each year, Northside Montessori School has to submit an Annual Report to the Board of Studies in order to meet the school performance information specified in Schedule 2 of the Australian Government’s Schools Assistance (Learning Together – Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Regulation 2005 and the educational and financial reporting requirements laid out in Section 3.10 of the Registered and Accredited Individual Non-Government Schools (NSW) Manual.

The NSW Minister of Education, based on the Australian Government and the Board of Studies requirements, has determined that the performance and policies that must be included in the annual report relate to :

• a message from key school bodies
• student performance in state-wide or equivalent tests and examinations
• professional learning and teaching standards
• student attendance and retention rates in secondary schools
• post-school destinations (for secondary schools)
• enrolment policies and procedures
• school policies
• school determined improvement targets
• initiatives promoting respect and responsibility
• parent, student and teacher satisfaction
• summary financial information
